ePro Fluid cart groups like items, but classic does not

We are finding that if you enter a two line req with both lines having the same description and price ePro Fluid is grouping these into a single line while Classic left these as individual lines. Both Fluid and Classic throw a similar message box stating, "You can have two separate req lines using the same descriptions, but you may want to consolidate information for the two lines." Why does Fluid group these while Classic leaves them separated if both messages are the same?
