Oracle 19c (19.3) on Oracle Linux 7

Hi. We are making plans on moving from 12.2.0.1 EE to 19.3. We run everything on OVS. When I read the documents it says that only the following are certified:

Oracle Linux 7.4 with the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel 4: 4.1.12-124.19.2.el7uek.x86_64 or later

Oracle Linux 7.4 with the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel 5: 4.14.35-1818.1.6.el7uek.x86_64 or later

Oracle Linux 7.5 with the Red Hat Compatible kernel: 3.10.0-862.11.6.el7.x86_64 or later

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.5: 3.10.0-862.11.6.el7.x86_64 or later

What does "or later" mean? Our admins have been using Oracle Linux 7 update 8, but the kernel is 4.1.12-124.41.5.el7uek.x86_64.

Can you help me understand what is certified/supported for Oracle Linux 7 and 19c? Perhaps the answer is right in front of me, but I just want to make certain before I submit reqs to the linux admin.

Howdy, Stranger!
