Can I make a receipt for an item under a completed Work Order?

Hi! I have a work order that's already complete. I know we can still charge labor and materials to an already completed work order, as long as it's not closed yet. But I'm trying to receive a Direct Item now and it gives us an error. Please see attached. Thank you.
