JDE E1: Does JDE requires JAVA on the server to run if it is not embedded? JAVA is required for JDE.

Dear Team,

We are using JDE XE version under unix windows server flatform. Could you please confirm given below points.

I remember that we have  tested JDE on the Win10 VDI where no JAVA was installed successfully. 

Point1: Does JDE requires JAVA on the server to run if it is not embedded?

Point 2: JAVA is required on the client end?

point 3: How about the JDE deployment server? Does it require JAVA?

please confirm given above points.
