Need to pull rate for calculation table method from Union Master rather than EE Master

I am in need of pulling the employee rate of pay from the Union Master instead of the Employee Master in a calculation. The calculation I created with Table Method "SH" works great if the employee's rate of pay is on his employee master record. But since he is a Union employee, the rate of pay is stored on the Union Master and the calculation table method does not pull the rate in. I have not found a table method that does.

Is there a work around for this or another methodology?
