How to improve performance of 6TB data DP export from 10.2.0.4 source DB for migration to 12cR2

The full export of the 6 TB Customs Data will take over two days and will negatively impact performance of the production Customs application due to the DataPump resource usage. The first attempt of the DataPump export task had to be aborted due to the performance impact on the Customs application running on the same host server. Besides DataPump export by individual schemas, what other options exist for optimizing the performance of the DataPump export process where large amounts of data have to be exported from a 10gR2 source database.

As the uploaded document highlights, we have some challenges with regards to the size of the source Customs data to be exported and the computing resources on the host 10gR2 database host server. We have some technical challenges as well.
