DBCA creating 19c SI database raises ORA-02249 missing or invalid value for MAXLOGMEMBERS

Both GI and RDBMS homes are version 19.6.0.0.200114.

Still experiencing this error when creating a non-CDB 19c database, even after following the advice from:

DBCA Errors with ORA-02249 When Creating Single-instance Database On Exadata [1456161.1]

In DBCA, selected:

  • Advanced Configuration
  • Database type: Oracle Single Instance database
  • Template name: "Custom Database"

BTW, was able to create 11.2.0.4 SI databases on this platform with dbca and "custom database". Anyone know how to do it in 19c?
