Which CLB_GOAL and RTLB to choose for Database Services

in Database - RAC/Scalability (MOSC) Question

Hello Everyone

We are configuring a 19c database to be used with E1 / JDE application which is a web tier application

We are planning to use different database services for different work load.

For example

E1APP service for the end users / application users

E1RPT service for the application reports submitted thru the batch modules within the application

Based on what we read,

For the services, Connection Load Balancing Goal can be set to SHORT or LONG

Runtime Load Balancing Goal can be set to SERVICE_TIME or THROUGHPUT

If we set the CLB_GOAL to LONG we should not set RTLB
