Can someone explain 'ASM IO for non-blocking poll' wait or point me to documentation?

My database is Oracle 19c running on Rhel 7.8 server. We use a 3rd party tool from SolarWinds to monitor the database. Since we upgraded to 19c one query has been running slow and the wait ASM IO for non-blocking poll seems to be contributing to the slowness. I have searched MOS, 19c documentation and google but have not found what this wait means. It looks like it was introduced in 19c. Any help would be appreciated.
