Charge account Project Segment in Approval rules setups- Approval Management

I am looking for some help. We have a requirement to setup a Approval process flow based on the Project (Segment5) of charge account.

For e.g., if the project code is 'HR' then it should first go to the HR team for the approval. I checked the fnd_segment_attribute_types table but there is no SEGMENT_ATTRIBUTE_TYPE for Project segment.

We have only Headers and Lines Item class setups. I was looking into Approval Administrator responsibility and found a Project code item class. Can we use this item class to check the segment5 of charge account? Please advise.
