Error in Install database

in Siebel System Admin, Install and Upgrade (MOSC) 3 commentsAnswered ✓

Hi ,


We are installing Siebel 20.6 version in Linux platfrom. Our linux OS version is


Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.2 (Ootpa)


We need to perform install database by launching DBserver. While executing dbsrvr.sh environment variable, we can see the error


error while loading shared libraries: libX11.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory


In the master_install.ucf we see the below error


Key Value = /u02/app/ses1/siebsrvr/bin/encryptstring: error while loading shared libraries: libxerces-c-3.1.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Key Value 2 = /u02/app/ses1/siebsrvr/bin/encryptstring: error while loading shared libraries: libxerces-c-3.1.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
