How feasible it is to Integrate Oracle EBS/ERP with 3rd Party IAM/OAM Solutions

I have a requirement to Integrate a 3rd party IAM/OAM Solutions with Oracle EBS/ERP 12.1.3 such as IBM Security Manager / Ping Identify etc..

Obviously, Oracle doesn't support such integrations. However, I would like to know what is the minimum/baseline requirement one must have in order to integrate EBS with such products.

Vendors usually have their own off the shelf custom made products/agents and they either as for APPS credentials or might ask for a NonApps user with certain privileges to key FND data dictionary views and Apps User Management APIs etc.

As per Oracle DOCs, Oracle ERP must have Oracle Access Manager(OAM) and further OAM can be integrated with third party SSO's
