How do you handle records retention for WebCenter Sites pages (12.2.1.3)?

We are being asked to recreate pages on our public site as they appeared on a certain date for litigation purposes. We have versioning set up for our WebCenter Sites pages and components, but I don't know of a way to use those past versions to build a page. I'm wondering how others handle records retention for web sites that they have set up in WCS. Do you build a custom solution to query the WCS database and reconstruct content, use a third-party tool to periodically screen shot pages on your site, or something else?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
