Can I use "compute expressions" in Metric Extensions in OEM 13c?

In a recent Oracle Learning video on OEM I saw a pseudo DEMO on using "Compute Expressions" in OEM 13c. However, when I look through the OEM 13.4 documentation on metric extensions I see no mention of using compute expressions.

I do see them available in the OMC documentation (under "Custom Metric Collection Methods"). Did the presenter get confused or are these available in OEM 13c metric extensions? If so, is there any documentation from Oracle about using them in OEM?
