Do we register Custom applications /schema like XX_APEX in Oracle Application Express (APEX) in EBS?

Hi,

We have installed/upgraded Oracle Application Express APEX 5.1 in my company finance team. The parsing schema created is like XX__.APEX . This parsing schema is the only schema associated with the workspace and application. Application pages work based on grants to this schema from EBS APP and Custom XX schema.

My question: Is it necessary to register the XX___APPEX schema in EBS? Currently the parsing schema with grants is working but just wanted to confirm if there is any registering required for this APEX new custom schema. Without this I cannot create ad_zd views in apex custom schema in 12.1 DB. I am creating objects, running ad_zd in EBS custom schema and giving grants to XX__.APEX.
