Does Active Data Guard works on different grid and database version

Hi All,

I have question, we're going to upgrade database to 19c currently our environment is using RAC database with 2 Node in production side and for standby database using single instance with ASM our grid and database version is 11.2.0.4, we're using Active Data Guard, our concern is we're going upgrade database in different days so the scenario are for the first day we're going to upgrade grid environment and the second day for upgrade database level.

My question is does Data Guard works between different grid & database version ?
