Timestamp changed upon ASMCMD cp command

Hi there,

We note that in ASMCMD, if we copy a file from ASM location to filesystem (we haven't tried vice versa), the Time of source file on ASM location is changed. As far as I understand, this is the MODIFICATION_DATE in V$SAM_FILE.

Is that normal for a copy command to update the modification time of source file?

Same behaviour on 12c and 19c.
