How to create a SKULIST based Simple promotion through price injector batch?

Please let us know if you have any pointers to how create a SKULIST based simple promotion in RPM 14.1.3.

As per the DM valid values for the MERCH_TYPE field in RPM_STAGE_SIMPLE_PROMO for SP creation are dept, class, subclass, parent, parent/diff, and item. valid values: 0 = item 1 = subclass 2 = class 3 = department 4 = parent/diff.

But the stage table has field 'SKULIST'

1. How do we make use of SKULIST filed to create SP for item under a SKULIST and what MERCH_TYPE to be used for the same?
2. What is a 'Price_Event_Item_List 'and does RPM allow creation of promotion using the same?
