Query regarding Weblogic 14c

Hi!

We are currently using Weblogic 12.2.1.1 in our environment. Recently we have came across vulnerabilities that needs to be fixed. Oracle suggests to upgrade either to 12.2.1.4 or 14.1.1. I have few queries regarding this.

  • Can we migrate directly from 12.2.1.1 to 14.1.1.(We have a clustered setup with multiple managed servers)
  • Is it possible to install Weblogic 14c as clustered on Windows Servers hosted on Azure. (I found the documentation but if anyone has done it recently or not).
  • How is licensing calculated for Weblogic 14c on Windows VM hosted on Microsoft Azure.
