Form Fields are activated before the form is activated

Hello All,

I am working on forms, I have designed a form but, I have not activated the form. I needed to make several changes before I activate the form.

Now the problem is, there are some fields that I want to delete from forms, but they are in activated status and the delete button is disabled (Snap attached).

My question is that, If I haven't activated the form, why these fields are locked ? and what can I do to delete these fields. A redesign is possible but it is so tedious process.

Please guide me.
