Do we need to relink on AIX environment if the AIX upgraded from TLx to newer TLx

Hello all,

We have an environment which is EBS 12.2.4 with DB 12.1.0.2 running on AIX 7.2. Since auditors required to upgrade the AIX to newer TL version, so we are looking for any steps required for the EBS after OS upgrade.

For EBS 12.1 or prior, we know we should follow the Doc ID 356878.1. However, it said it's not for 12.2 so what the steps about 12.2? Is there any options/steps other than Rapid Clone?

We also found a statement mentioned as below in Doc ID 1502802.1:

"IBM guarantee binary compatibility between Major Releases of AIX , so applying AIX maintenance patch sets should give no issues for relinking ... It is not an Oracle requirement to relink installed software after an OS upgrade. You should not need to. If it is still a certified version, it should run with the same system requirements as before."
