Employee Self Service and Dependent Changes

Can anyone tell me if we have a former employee as a dependent of a current employee, can the current employee make changes to the former employee's demographic information? For example current employee married former employee and wanted to make a change to the former employee's name during open enrollment but can only change the relationship. Is there a processing option to allow a change to the former employees info by a current employee if they are listed as a dependent or beneficiary?
