R47071 - Direct Ship - sales order status not updated

User is running R47071 to receive a direct ship purchase order. While the receipt is happening and the OD is being closed, the SD order status is not getting updated.

I've confirmed that the P4312 version being called has the proper next status populated in the processing options and the line numbers are not out of sync. Also, there are no errors are written to the workcenter.

Is there anything else we can check ?
