Oracle 12.2 Datapump slow on peoplesoft database (9.2)

Hello, I'm using data pump in several databases without a problem. But in my peoplesoft databases, which have 35,000+ tables, data pump is taking hours. It gets to the completing phase in a reasonable time and the log says that it has completed, but the process is still running and spooling output. Has anyone seen this behavior?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
