Depreciation is not getting calculated since Depreciation flag is not enabled

Depreciation is not getting calculated since Depreciation flag is not enabled on asset. Now our client wants to get enabled the depreciation check box on this asset and get calculated the arrears depreciation .

Please suggest any workaround available?
