Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Hi,

We are planning to change the JDE user id's password.

As part of the steps, one was to also change the JDE user id's password in the planner local DB on dep server.

I thought that was valid only during XE days. Do we still need to do it?

And are there any recommended steps/doc/whitepaper to do that?

Is it by connecting to the local planner db via SQL Plus and do a Alter user?
