Freight Tax not showing/calculating on Order Entry Line.

When I add an order for the state of Michigan the sales tax is getting calculated and display on the Order Entry Page. However, when I add a charge for Freight and the charge is taxable - the Freight charge appears on the Order Entry Page but the tax isn't getting calculated and doesn't appear on the page. What am I missing or doing wrong? Has anyone else experienced this issue?
