Steps To Configure Standby Database For Single Instance Database

We have previously configured a single instance standby database for our 2-node RAC database for use with Dataguard. We have moved away from RAC (don't ask!) and are back to a single instance that we want to Dataguard. Can someone point me to a doc that details the steps to create a single instance standby for a single instance primary?
