Unit cost for Free Good order line is zero

Hello,

When we enter an order line with free goods, the free goods line doesn't have a value in the unit cost (UNCS). When we modify the quantity of this free good line we have a value in UNCS. The line type of the free good line is "S" and it is an intercompany line.

I have checked Knowledge Garden but could not find any documentation on how the unit cost is filled or updated. I hope somebody can give us more information or a link to a document. Thank you.
