In an attempt to minimize downtime in our PROD environment. Below is our approach; I'm just looking for confirmation, suggestions, advice for this and future patching cycles.

|- Patch 31730250 - Database Oct 2020 Release Update 18.12.0.0.201020

|- Patch 31668892 - Oracle JavaVM Component Release Update 18.12.0.0.201020OVERALL STEPS

==============1. Disable REDO transport on Primary.

2. Shutdown the standby site and apply interim PSU patch to the RDBMS binaries. (Requires a complete outage.)

|- Apply DB PSU - Patch 31730250 - Database Oct 2020 Release Update 18.12.0.0.201020

|- Apply OJVM PSU patch - Patch 31668892 - Oracle JavaVM Component Release Update 18.12.0.0.201020
