Oracle Home folder unmounted

Dear Team,

Trust everyone is keeping safe.

I am currently on Oracle 12c R2 with RAC (Grid Infrastructure) and the OS is RedHat 7.4.

We noticed recently that the Oracle Folder which us "/u01" got unmounted from its original drive and the folder u01 is now part of the root folder. This is currently causing a serious I/O problem. Hence, there is an urgent need to remount this u01 folder back to its original drive.

Knowing that mounting this folder "u01" to the original drive will hide all the existing Oracle files (making the u01 directory appears empty). How do I achieve this safely i,e mouting the u01 directory to the original drive and still have all the oracle files intact.
