JDE 9.2 - Simulated raw material purchased item cost changed when simulating WIP item?

When simulating a WIP or even finished good item one of the raw material cost had a new simulated cost. The stocking type is P on this raw material. There has been no change in the cost & the cost that was being pulled into the simulation appeared no where in F4105, F30026, item ledger or purchase orders, for any branch plant or for any cost method. We use standard cost by work center.

Had the cost accountant not caught that the raw material cost was changing in the simulation this could have been a problem because they were simulating the inventory cost method.
