ALERT - Clarity on RU8, OPatch 13.9.4.2.5 and OMSPatcher 13.9.4.4.0

in Enterprise Manager Generic (MOSC)

Hello Everyone ,

The RU8 for EM 13.4 is released today.

1) The EM 13.4 OMS Opatch must be upgraded to 13.9.4.2.5 before applying RU8. No older version of Opatch (13.9.4.2.2 or 13.9.4.2.4) can be used for patching the EM 13.4 OMS with RU8.

2) It is mandatory to apply the OMS RU8 immediately after upgrade to Opatch 13.9.4.2.5. If RU8 application is not planned, do not upgrade Opatch to 13.9.4.2.5 as this new Opatch will break EM functionality without the corrections included in RU8.

3) If the OMS Opatch was upgraded to 13.9.4.2.4 earlier and the workaround of copying the jar files has been performed, then the OMS Opatch can be upgraded to 13.9.4.2.5 with immediate subsequent application of RU8.
