Why service request is still open even after linked WO is closed?

I used service request to create a WO . I executed the WO and done completion & close. But still the Service Request shows Open and available to link with new work order. Where as the Work Request has status changes along with the WO flow.


Can any one suggest the option to close the Service Request with the WO Close?
