Mandatory parameter error message pop-up in BIP 12.2.1.4

hi All,

I am using BIP 12.2.1.4 version. There is one requirement of mandatory Date parameter. if User don't enter it then it should show 'Date is mandatory'. Currently it is showing PDF message that this file cannot be opened because it has no pages. attached image.
