JDE 9.2 tools upgrade on app in JDE 9.1

Hi Team,

We are planning to upgrade tools release from 9.1.5.3 to 9.2.4.5, application version will be 9.1.

Architecture details:

APPL Version: 9.1

Existing tools version: 9.1.5.3

OS: IBM AIX 7.1

DB: IBM DB2 UDB

I have reviewed the couple of community blogs around it (refer below).

In nutshell the basic steps mentioned :

1) install/Upgrade Server Manager console

2) upgrade SM agent

3) Apply require components for 9.2 tools on appl 9.1

4) Run tools upgrade for the deployment Server and the Non-PROD environment.

5) Perform testing

6) Run PROD tools upgrade.

My concern:

1) With 9.2 we need to generate the site key. In one of blog it has mentioned, we can use the muti-foundation, to avoid the issue with password encryption due to 9.2.
