Is the Documentation, FM Data Modelling Guide for Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher, correct when it states for an LDAP query data set, parameter support YES, in the table in the documentation?

I am trying to create a BI Publisher Data Model, using an LDAP query, using a parameter. 

Does anyone have an example of how to include a parameter in a report which uses  an LDAP query data set type? I am looking to report on eDirectory 9
