Jdeveloper studio 12.2.1.3 for tools 9235 and above

We are on tools 9235, planning for TR upgrade to 9244

Since with 9244 , jdeveloper 12.2.1.0 is not supported anymore, we are planning to update our jdeveloper beforehand.

We are already on TR9235 which supports the newer version of jdeveloper.


Now per doc 2059891.1 its the 64 bit version , thats now supported. so I am planning to download and install the 64 bit jdev studio version 12.2.1.3. Below are my questions-

  1. Now, does this mean the JDK used will have to be 64 bit as well?
  2. Doc 2167546.2 has steps for jdeveloper install, but these steps look like they are for the older version. Is there anywhere I can find the steps for the newer version?
