Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Does number of columns on a table affect performance ?

Hi All,

I've a thought, we're planning to add more columns on table before is 45 columns to 75 columns, and my question is,

Does number of columns on a table affected performance database ?
Is there any recommendation from oracle which set the limitation number of columns on table ?
