Priorotize two deals - Employee discount and Simple promotion

Hi community,

I have question on promotions to work with the desired preferences. Lets say there are two promotions EMP discount [25%] and simple promotions[70% off] active on same item. Now, I want xstore to apply best deal out of it.

As I tested in the system, xstore is not applying best deal. I am able to make employee discount exclusive by adding exclusion records in deal trigger table but not for simple promotion.

Kindly need your inputs on how to make simple promotion exclusive in above explained scenario.
