Can we apply SP3 to the Operating system Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 64 bit Edition SP1?

Hello Team,

Currently we are using JD Edwards Enterprise One 8.98.4.9 Software and the data base server have OS Microsoft windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. As per the security team, they wants to apply SP3 to the database servers.

Could you please advise, Can we apply SP3 to the existing SP1 OS? As we are using very old version, we need confirmation that it would not result in any issue.
