Essbase connection to IBM Cognos

Hello Essbase Gurus,

We are looking to pull essbase data from Cognos to build dash boards and graphs, and want it to be a live connection.

Our initial attempts have provided some roadblocks - so thought would get some input from others who have already done this.

If anyone in this community has successfully connected Oracle Essbase to Congnos could you please share some insights on the process and how effective is it .
