Looking for documentation regarding the java ports being used in em13cR4.

I have an installation of OEM 13c Release 4 patched with the October 2020 PSU's. I am seeing seemingly random ports being used by the Weblogic.server java processes. I have observed the following ports being used:

Ports 25647 and 30361 (on Nov. 4), ports 25824 and 17702 (after reboot on Nov. 9), and ports 17792 and 33136 (Current after restart of OMS).

I need to explain the use of these ports to my Compliance organization. I have reference document "Cloud Control Advanced Installation and Configuration Guide" and is either incorrect or incomplete.

Java Object Cache (JOC)

  • The default JOC port is 23456. If 23456 is not available, no alternate port is used, so ensure that port 23456 is free.
