How to stop sales order registration

Hi,

I am testing the credit limit functionality in system and orders are going in hold if credit limit exceed for the customers.

One of my requirements, Is it possible to stop sales order registration from P4210/P42101 if customer exceeds the credit limit define in system. System should allow the entry of orders till credit limit not exceed.
