Selective Add/Remove BOM components through bulk redlining

In Oracle Agile PLM 9.3.3 or 9.3.6, we can manually redline a BOM to modify the quantities or any of its components, etc. If it's required to perform bulk redlining for ex., thousands of BOM , what’s the best way to do it? Looks like the import functionality doesn't work as expected as it just adds the component and the removal is failing. Any updates/ideas to perform this bulk redlining through any other feature in Agile PLM is highly appreciated
