How to automate OPatch updates

I would like to know how I could automate the OPatch updates on all my servers? I have Oracle Databases, Oracle OBIEE and obviously the EM server. I see that there's a process to check the latest version but when I try to use the Patches & Updates to update Opatch it does not work. I could not find proper documentation on that either.
