ODA 19.9 KVM virtualization and VLAN networking

Just a few notes on my recent experience with configuring VM's on an X5-2HA running 19.9 in a Bare Metal configuration. The version is the important bit, not the model.

The first note is that the syntax in the documentation is wrong especially for the vnetwork and vm related commands. Please use the odacli -h options for the current syntax. Also see notes on the network options below.

Secondly, what the documentation does not make clear is that you need to create a disk when creating the VM and that disk will be used to boot from. I wrongly assumed you would create a virtual disk and add to the VM to be used as a boot disk. Not correct- attempting to create a vm without a disk will fail with an obscure error about having a disk size of 0.
