In e-Business Suite Projects, how to mark the Cost Distributed checkbox for project expenditure item

Hello,

We are using Oracle e-Business Suite version 12.1.3. In Expenditure Inquiry -> Actuals, we have a project expenditure item that is not cost distributed. We tried to check the checkbox, but get the message, "FRM-40200: Field is protected against update." How do we the cost distributed box checked?
