FFCRA Year end reporting, Box 14
Hello. Please help. (EBS 12.2.7) With the new information regarding the year end reporting for FFCRA earnings in Box 14, we have stumbled on a road block. Any information/suggestions/guidance would be GREATLY appreciated.
We created the two earnings for SS_ER Exempt for Sick Leave and for Family Leave. And we created one Retro element that both used, that was also SS_ER Exempt. Had we known that the earnings would need to be reported separately, we would have created two retro elements. But we didn't so now, here we are.
Questions:
- do we have to use the different names (Sick Leave vs Family Leave) in Box 14, or can we lump it all into one (they were paid the same within our organization) (IRS Notice 2020-54)
