Question about data selectyon

in CNC, DB and Operating System - JDE1 (MOSC) 3 commentsAnswered

I have developers asking a question about UBE data selection and DB2.

I know in the World days, data selection was executed via an OPNQRYF statement that genertaed a static temp file.

But now there is concern that a data selection is actually fluid. That is, subsequent DB changes to the files in the selection criteria could affect the results.

Does anyone know the mechanics on this?
